Of Hideaways and Castaways

I was recently commissioned by a friend of mine to paint a sunny, warm picture similar to A Swing for Isabella. I assume that they found the dreamlike, sunny quality appealing and so I went with it. I've been trying something quite new: simpler pain layers, more carefully mixed before hand, as well as a more child-like approach to theme and representation.
